Personally, I think we get very little spam on here. We don't get nailed (often) by outsiders, and the internal people are really just giving other members first dibs on whatever they have to part with. This is why we set the group up to reqire a moderator to approve new members. This prevents people from joining just to post ads. I can't tell you the number of times I've been looking to buy something and it's happended to become available from someone on teh Cal-Boats list. It's awesome. I got my Cal 25 pop-top cover and sail cover that way. :-) Quite the bargain as well! Cheers!
