How much bottom Paint?

Hello, Can anybody give me an estimate for gallons of bottom paint needed for my Cal 31 (standard 5' draft)? I'm guessing two. Also, any recommendation other than Petit Trinidad (lots of growth where I am) and any paticular color better than others? (I heard red somewhere but don't know why). Is the West Marine Bottom Pro Gold any good? It is 60% cuprous oxide w/ Irgaratol added, the Trinidad is 70%. The West is $40/gal cheaper. Thanks in advance!
