Mainsail on the old Cal is about to give up the ghost. One good puff and it will all come down in a cloud of confetti. Can anyone recommend a good, reasonable (cheap) source for Cal sails?

Klaus, we have a consignment shop (also deals in some new sails) called Bacon and Associates. I own no stock or vested interest, but I do know the folks. It is also like a Minney's in other areas of parts. Tell 'em Charlie from the CAL 25s sent you. http://www.baconsails.com/ Hope this helps. not sure where you are located, i had to replace both main and jib, found a jib at www.sailexchange.com and a main at kelly marine in san pedro both were very good prices! you can check the inventory online for sailexchange and minney's good luck debbie cal 34 "impulse" {currently for sale} Klaus Hoog <kl… [at] comfortvoice.com> wrote: Mainsail on the old Cal is about to give up the ghost. I'm in Oriental, NC. I'd prefer to find a good used sail or maybe one of the low ball priced ones from China that I've heard about. I just can't find a source. If I have to have one made, I'll probably go to one of the local sailmakers. That way I can have it cut with a shorter leech so that the boom will clear the bimini (anyone else have that problem?).
