I bet that would look great on a Cal 20. She wants to be a Cal28 when she grows up, though. Probably.
Actually, maybe just making a Cal 20 one would work too.

But Marsh, Who doesn't know what a Cal-25 is? It is only one of the most
distinctive looking boats ever made. It certainly can't be other sailors
that are confused. Unless, perhaps, they haven't had their sterns
handed to them on the race course before...
Put me in for a Cal-40 version :-)
(This could get expensive for you. What's the damage?)

One of my favorite sailing tee shirts was made for the crew of "Uncle Juicy" a Cal 40 in Seattle.
The tee shirts read:
"Life begins at Cal 40" with the Cal logo.
Insert your boat size for improved satisfaction.

I've had people ask... Let me see, I think there's a way to get them
made reasonably... if not, well, I'll get prices and do it :-)

Cal stickers and... (group)
Marsh Wise2008-03-08 07:06 UTC
One other thing about the stickers... I am not thrilled w/ how the Cal
text came out, so will be fooling w/ it. Any of you have a better idea
than what I have? I really DO think I'll set up some kinda online store
and make some shirts and stuff. Decals might take longer, but I have a
good source and he's reasonable. :-) There seems to be a void for stuff
like that. Please, let me know your thoughts on this.

It is interesting that our Cals were born back in a time when peopledid not have manufacturer' s labels all over their clothing, shoes, boats. Cal's little signature was the wide sheer stripe with thelittle V at the stem. They didn't need to say more. I kinda likekeeping it a secret--the people who know about boats will know what wehave, and the others will have to ask.
T-shirts would be cool.
