Sorry to hear about the diagnosis, Marsh. I've got some chronic health issues that have forced some (very minor) lifestyle restrictions, so I have some understanding of what this can feel like. But as Wilkie points out, diabetes can be managed. My advice is to make lemonade from life's lemons, and accept the challenge to be the best diabetic out there. You now have some new battles to be won, and there can be a lot of satisfaction in winning. Still, change can indeed suck. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.
