rudders and sails

I read or heard somewhere that the rudder on the C36 and CC36 is the C40 rudder. Is that true? Wasn't there an upgraded design for the C40 rudder? If so, did it really make much difference? Our sails are pretty well used up. We are having a couple minor repairs done to keep them serviceable for now, but will be looking for replacements. If anyone hears of a good deal, let us know. As a bit of an update, I think we have all the power train hiccups cured, for now. Finished at 5:30 pm last Sunday shortly before saying goodbye to Tom and Bobbi and Michael and Beth.
