Hello Mike: I am on year 5 with my polyglo process. I will need a good scrubbing before I apply this year but there is an acid wash that is included in the kit. As noted previously, it is all in the prep work. The actual application is just SO EASY. My wife and I have a system down that lets us put three coats on in less than an hour. First year was five coats. No buffing...no rubbing. That's it for the year.....Make sure that the hull is very clean and results can be great. Les Hester 3-29 #1005 Bay Breeze Swan Creek, Md. I saw it applied (very very EASY looking job) on a boat in the yard..the top sides looked like a new lpu paint job! The company's web site has great claims and Practrical Sailor gave it good marks. Would like to know if anyone on the list has used it??? http://www.poliglow-int.com/ Mike Robinson Holiday Cal 36 #4 Pt.
