OxyClean uses oxalic acid as a cleaning/bleaching ingredient. OxyClean is the name-brand cleaning powder that Billy Mays is (or was?) always hawking on TV infermercials. It should be safe for use on lines. Chlorine Bleach can due harm to lines, although a very weak solution might be OK. Should be able to get rid of organic stains. I'm not sure what Oxyclean is, but I have some sort of vague recollection that nylon and bleach weren't very compatible. Chris Campbell
