Hey, Charlie, thanks for your help. Indeed, it is a rubber rubrail that fits over the deck/hull joint. I removed it, and I want to gring the excess glass, which currentlyloops upward and downward, and holds water. I plan to remove the spread, to make it flat un the upper and lower surfaces, and install a narrower rubrail. I have seen rubrails that are narrow and have a trim on the outer face which looks pretty good.
Anyway, any info would be great!

Jeff, is it a rubber/vinyl rail that goes over the deck-hull joint? I
know 3 or 4 sources depending on where you are.
Cheers
Charlie

Jeff, look at this (D&R Marine).
http://www.drmarine.com/categories.asp
In the search box type in "rub rail". Make sure you have the space.
About half way down is a CAL rail. Our CAL 25s use the 55' section.
That is long, but having a tail makes the stretching much better.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Charlie
