Cruising Chutes,Charlie Husar

Charlie, After reflecting on this year's Chicago-Mackinac Race I have a question regarding cruising spinnakers. We used one that was a "reaching" spinnaker, and an all purpose one. The AP seemed to be effective (it was large!), but I thought we did just as well with the 155 Genoa as we did with the so-called reaching chute, and it's less hassle. I ain't convinced that just because it's pretty colors it's faster. Comments? Regards, David Dobbs
