Fixed Ports - "go lights"
ti… [at] ch2m.com2008-09-17 16:51 UTC
All,
I heard from Stan Honey that "golights" (sp) was the original manufacturer of Cal fixed lights, and still have the patterns and can supply. I Googled and found GOLIGHTS, but the company that came up was started in 1994, and they make spotlights...

Timm, I believe the original windows were from "Go Industries" or "Go
Windows". Mark Plastics in Corona, CA bought that operation (I believe)
and now advertises themselves as the maker of "Go Windows" although the
frames are now plastic. However, one can get glass insides from Mark.
I trust I make myself properly obtuse.
Cheers
Charlie

That sounds about right. The fixed lights in my '87 Aloha 32
are "Go Industries". One is just starting to craze, the
other is fine. Glad to here I can get replacements from
Mark.

BTW, the gentleman's name is Mark Heacox. He's been known to race a CAL
25, and knows the CAL line well. I've bought many set of CAL 25
windows from him over the years for our Annapolis group.
Be careful in that some web listings have an old phone area code for his
company (trying to remember the right one at the moment). Here are two
listings that were right next to each other on a web site:
MARK PLASTICS - GO WINDOWS

I've been to Mark's shop. "Old style" would fit the bill. 951 it is.
Don't trip over the stacks of window templates on your way into his
lobby.
Cheers
