We have hull #1008 and we were told by the dealer in 1978 that we had the last hull made. But, 2 plus years ago we came across hull #1009 here in Everett. Brad, (the current owner) and I joke with one another that his boat is for sure the last Cal 29 made, as it seems the Costa Mesa plant was a bit careless with some of the workmanship.
