Hello Marlinspike Sailors, Well, I finished whipping the wheel last night. It took about 160 feet of 1/8" cord and 5+ hours for the 24" diameter wheel. I did a simple single-line ringbolt hitch... alternating half-hitches. I wore leather gloves to prevent blisters. It looks pretty good and hope that it'll make the wheel grip easier. I plan to add a turks head at the king spoke soon. Michael
