Cal 29 batteries

Dear cal 29 friends, I have two group 24 batteries installed just forward of my atomic 4. I would like to get some bigger batteries in the boat so I can enjoy Oprah without draining my batteries. What are some of the creative ways cal 29 owners have jammed 4d's or 8d's into their boats. I'm not terribly concerned about the added weight (if I was I'd go on a diet). Thanks, Glen

I upgraded to dual Group 31's in our 2-29 and just built a new frame in the same location. They are Trojan AGM31's with over 100AH each so there's quite a bit of power in there. We've been out for several days with laptops, cell phones, etc running on the inverter without a problem. I was toying with putting another battery box in the bilge somehow but never really went there. There is another Cal 2-29 on this list who berth's just a few slips down from us in Everett, I think I remember him saying he stuffed 6 or 8 batteries in his boat somehow.
