Walt, I would doubt that "X".
CAB - CAL Boats
29 - Model
48X - Hull Number?
0773 - Came off the line in July of 1973
There was a later scheme for IDs that had a letter in the last 4 alphas
for the month code.
The whole code thing was kind of whacked because there was not enough
room for models and hull numbers.
