Zinks

Hello All I am a new Cal owner. I own a Cal 2-30 and was wondering which zinks does it need, and where does it need them. I have the original owners guides etc but there is no reference to any zinks. Thank you for your help.

I have a 1" ID zinc on the prop shaft mounted just forward of the strut. It's a great boat. Steve Ritz Excelsior Ft. Depending on your diesel engine model, you should find fittings for zincs in you oil cooler and heat exchanger too. It's just as important to replace those as the prop zinc. Look for a small threaded fitting in the body of those two engine parts. Happy sailing.
