On my Cal 2-29,I have the 4000 series autohelm, with Clutch assembly mounted to the wheel. The issue is when I engage the clutch lever and start the autohelm, as the wheel turns the clutch lever disengages. No autohelm. I would appreciate any remedy. Mark Cal 2-29 San Pedro

Mark, Had the same problem. It could be belt wear, wheelie wear, etc. They use a jig to align the insides. If you take the 2 halves apart, there is an adjustment inside. It is an off centered wheel-like thing. Raymarine told me about this, and provided instructions. It was a few years ago, but it did take care of the "auto disengage" problem. If all else fails, they can take care of it. Good luck, Carl On 4/4/09, markalan05 <ma… [at] cox.net> wrote: > > On my Cal 2-29,I have the 4000 series autohelm, with Clutch assembly > mounted to the wheel.
