David, Pullleeez! Let's not exaggerate what happened. After you thought I was safely aboard my yacht and sleeping away like a buzz saw milling giant redwoods, I stuck my thumb out, hopped aboard a passing blue whale who dropped me off at the Isthmus dock, where-upon I went into the night club, continued the wild night of dancing, smooching, hooching, and merry making (I'll leave out the part about the orgy) till 3:00AM where upon the same whale stopped by at curfew time and gave me a ride back to my boat, safe and sound, and mostly dry.... Well, I did share the last bottle of champagne with him on the swim back. Nice whale. My one man dingy was rammed, thrashed by another dingy's outboard prop, spun around and around and deflated, and I was ordered aboard my yacht to go below to sleep it off, after one CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC CCCC broke up after I declared I was going to extend the festivities by rowing two miles down the coast in total darkness to the Isthmussesses to seek further late night night life. Oh well! Some of the C's were things like CAL, Catalina (Island), Champagne, and Caper, but I have forgotten the full construction. Think of the fun that could be had with this, for example a > CAL(20 or anysize for that matter) rendezvous, say up or near > Manitoulin or Mackinaw Island? This does sound like fun. Why don't you call my boss and make arrangements for me to be paid for a few weeks so I can wander past Mackinaw to the North Channel at a Cal 20 speed? Work always gets in the way of fun.... Those of us here on the middle coast expect that kind of behavior from the right and left coasts, so we're not exactly surprised, but we must register a mild form of disapproval at such carrying-on.)
