temporary slips in San Diego or LA

Hello All, I may be purchasing a boat that is currently in San Carlos, Mexico. I plan to have her trucked to either the San Diego or LA area and then later in the summer sail her back to Oregon. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I might find a slip in either area to keep the boat for a few months? Tom Miller

In San Diego you can try the Chula Vista Marina in the south bay. It is probably the most reasonable because it is at the south of the bay, a long way to the open ocean if you want to head to sea every weekend. But the weekend sailing in the south bay is by far the most fun and has the best wind. Tom: Nice irony. One of my best sailing mates is in Chula Vista and has reserved a slip in a brand new and very empty marina for his 50' sailboat. The boat does not arrive until late. I'll check on that availability for you and let you know.
