CCCCC 2009 (Mark)

Randy,
Count me in!
I've been wanting to cruise the famous Channel Islands for years now, and promised myself to make an effort to do it this year. I had been thinking of going up a day early for the Channel Islands to Marina del Rey race just to check out at least one anchorage. What dates do you have in mind? Where? What itinerary?
I'm not sure, but, did you leave out a C??
Jerry

Mark,
The SoCal boats host the CCCCC. It is a get together we use to have and it included boats from San Diego to Santa Barbra (180 miles of coast line). I know we have a couple of boats in Morrow Bay but they haven't made it down yet.
I would like to propose, (if Fin doesn't answer), I will get together with my Santa Barbra brothers and sisters, invite everyone up here. We are suppose to have the best sailing grounds in the world and the best anchorages.
Anyone interested?
Randy

Is there a date or place yet? I came up from LA( drove) in '07 and would like to know if I should be setting a weekend aside.

Randy ...
Sounds like a great idea. I don't know about the Channel Islands to MDR race, but the Santa Barbara to King Harbor race is very popular. Some southern boats might want to be in the area the week before that start. I think that the start is the first Friday in August.
