List Mates on Alameda Channel

Was at my boat this Sunday and saw the Cal 3-30 "Tequila" calmly tacking back and forth across the Alameda Channel with a light headwind and incoming tide to boot! They tacked just off the end of H-dock where we keep our Cal 33. Watched them continue their relaxing sail from the windows of the Pasta Pelican restaurant. Suddenly a large white asymmetrical spinnaker filled the windows with a smiley face taped on the chute and a Cal 40 attached! What a sight as they clipped along just outside the windows headed back to their home slip! Great day for Cals in Alameda!
