Hello, Another Cal Chris here. I have the same boat, same year. I am thinking about replacing the motor mounts and was wondering what you experienced when you did that project. How much noise/vibration impact did it make for you? Thanks and good luck. I can vouch for the Cal 31 as a good family boat. I can vouch for the 31 as well. I believe it has the same water line as the 34. Chris...are you changing out a Volvo MD7a for something else. I do wish at times of opposing currents that I had a bit more than 13 horsepower.
