Standard Horizon cp180i & AIS

Greets: A while back Tim was kind enough to point out a rather inexpensive AIS solution from http://store.milltechmarine.com/smrasraisre.html I was wondering, prior too contacting Standard Horizon, has anyone integrated this unit with the referenced plotter. I dont see any reason why it cant but was wondering of the experience of others, before I go down this road, as it broadcasts standardized NMEA sentences. The cp180i is more then enough for my personal needs. Thanks for any info. Best regards /ch
