Cal 31 dining table

In my old literature it talks about an dining table option that is a permanently fixed, drop leaf style. All the ones I've seen on Cal 31s are the less robust fold-up-to-bulkhead kind. Does anyone have the fixed table on either a Cal 31 or similar Cal layout? I'd like to see how it fits in the cabin. Thanks. Jack Cal 31 #198

Can't help you with your inquiry, but if you are concerned about the hook and eye disconnecting in rough conditions, put a cable or bungee across the table. I have not had any problems with mine. Harleigh, I wasn't concerned about it falling down. I'm thinking more about how useless it is while underway because it is way too fragile to set up and use. It's okay if your daytripping, but not so good if you are doing longer passages where it would be nice to have a sturdy table (with fiddles) to sit at.
