Cal 28 Outboard

Hello all I have a 1966 Cal 28 with an outboard that fits in the small hole in the lazarette. I have been using a 1985 Johnson, which is now puttering-out. Most of the engines I have been looking at will not fit into that hole, and I don't think I want to instal a motor-mount on the transom. I am wondering what other Cal 28 owners are using. If you can find one, the long shaft version that is, one of these should fit and are very simple to work on, cheap and almost indestructible. Ive had one for several years and they simply great. Now powers the dink with the long shaft extension removed.
