They've been around for a while. In theory they appear to work great. My
fear would be how well they launch out of a bag and how easy are they to
pack.

and it IS impressive. So impressive I have requested a quote to build one
for Boomerang!. It uses the principles similar to
parachutes/kiteboarparachu providing more power in less space than a traditional kite, and the
design allows dangerous gusts to spill...protecting rigs and spars. I like
the concept a lot. It is called ParaSailor, and you can find out more at
