Michael,
did you stay in Key West for race week?
I was there on a 47' Lagoon Cat chartered for the week
We only watched the race for one day, what a great platform for viewing!
kinda got spoiled going to the Dry Tortugas at 9-10 kts and sailing flat

Hello All,
We did the Fort Lauderdale to Key West race last week. Brenda and I crewed on Sempre Amantes, a 42 foot Hunter Passage. We finished elapsed time of 23:57:08 hours and took 5th place.
Here are some photos of the race and time spent in Key West.
Crosswinds, a Corsair F-27 Formula, hit the reef, took on water, and had to be towed into Marathon. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
Scoring for the race can be seen here.
Regards,
Michael

Kevin,
My wife and I arrived on Thursday and stayed in Key West until Sunday. We both had to get back to work. Our next sailing adventure & racing campaign will be at the Regatta Time In Abaco (Bahamas) this summer.
We plan to do the Fort Lauderdale to Key West race again next year. Will you be there?

Hi,
Unfortunately I don't know where I will be next year.
This was a one time charter for a group of friends.
I am available to crew! LOL I'm not a hard core racer anymore
