NBC news reported that yesterday there was measurable snowfall in
forty-nine of the fifty states. It has been too cold for me to simply go down to
the marina and work on my boat, let alone take it out.
Just curious . . . how cold is too cold in Florida?
So now I am beginning to understand what it is like for all of you who are
up north, many of you with your boats on a hardstand for the winter.
Just got back from walking thru crusty snow drifts with my leg gators on,
carrying my ladder, extension cord and scrapers to scrape the last round
of snow and ice off the boat. Glad my boat is on stands this winter.
I couldn't live like that.
Ahhh you don't know living until you get all your tools up on the boat,
its 25 deg outside, wind blowing 20kts, you're dressed like an Eskimo and you
realize now you have to take a sh*t !!
Here's to hoping for an early Spring and a great Summer this year....
Amen!!!!

It was 29 at my house in Pensacola last night! We had a dusting of snow
on the Bayou around 1300 yesterday.
