Mike -
Keep me up to date on your progress and when you stop in the Chesapeake,
drop a line. We are mid-bay on the Choptank River in Cambridge which is about
16 miles up river from the Bay.
And yes, sailor chicks do rule. We did our 10 day honeymoon on a Bavaria
34 in the BVI's and determined that we needed our own boat after that. 6
most later we had the CS 30, a year later she actually got me into racing that
boat and created the monster (as she likes to say) that I am today. We
bought the Cal with a plan to do the Annapolis to Newport, Newport to Bermuda
and Marblehead to Halifax races and in 5 to 7 years cut the dock lines and go
cruising for a year or so.
So we'll see what the economy does to us and keep on dreamin'. Until then,
we'll enjoy gettin' her cleaned up and racing in the Chesapeake.

Will do. We look forward to meeting you sometime. We actually have quite
a few Cal's on the Chesapeake don't we? I think Charlie Husar is in
Annapolis among many others.

just finished reading Michner's "Chesapeake". The Choptank River figured prominently. Loking forward to seeing it when we arrive.
