need diesel engine

Does anybody know of an engine for my 36ft. cal sailboat its diesel, i pulled a isuszu engine out,it needs to be able to fit my v- drive thought i had one but the guy i been talking to for the last six months all of the sudden does not have it or will not sell it to me what a waste of my time and now i have a small two week window with the mechanic installing it, because hear on the eastern shore crab season is just about hear,compounding my dilemma,also my very tight budget of 2000.oo dollars for something to get me on the water for awhile. thanks guys and gals, sam

Sam, I noticed a yanmar on the baltimore craigslist boat list today. Don't personally know anything about it but might be worth checking out. Mike
