I think three Hail Mary's would be more appropriate, but please don't abandon the group. Ann and I usually read your posts first. But of course we are but fools upon a fantasy. By the way, these non sailing posts really upset me and I have considered leaving this list because of them. I don't have a Cal but am on the list to gain occasional tidbits and to help other sailors when I can, but I really don't like the non sailing stuff. Perhaps there is a wooden boat list that would be more useful for me anyway. Allen

Sometime I get too enthusiastic on this list and blab and blab. Then there is the lack of spell check which I must confess is easy to forget with gmail. Guilty of fluff and off topic stuff just like the next guy. But hay, I really appreciate this list as well as CAL's period. I often however forget that basic axiom of netiquette, which is never say anything on a list that you would not say in public. Going to remind myself of that as it got me into trouble once when I worked in IT as both lists and email were the main source of communications. A few off placed remarks and the roof came down as its should but loss of friends and colleques is not worth it. 2 cents CDN... /ch
