Really nice boat dEmO...studied the deck layout intently. A few questions if I may as there are some things that intrest me that could be adapted to mine. 1. You have two U brackets on the starboard side to off on, one vertical and one horizontal...pour qua? 2. Like the belt and anchor points around the range. Thats smart, especially the belt. 3. What are the four DC pour outlets used for, 2 or each side. Or are they something else. 4. The green line going forward on the port side...downhaul? Hope you get your price. She looks well prepared. Best regards and lots of luck. /ch

1. You have two U brackets on the starboard side to off on, one vertical and one horizontal...pour qua? U brackets: Big vertical one is for harness lanyard conections, you can hook up or off while still downstairs. The large size makes sure all 5-6 lanyards can be stored here. THe smaller horizontal ubolt protects the plug in for the removte VHF "Ram Mike" from being stepped on or hooked. 2. Like the belt and anchor points around the range. Thats smart, especially the belt. Thanks~! 3. What are the four DC pour outlets used for, 2 or each side. Or are they something else. On the cockpit bulkhead there are (4) Buttons, not DC cigarette POU. One each side there is a bilge pump button that drains the opposite bilge. So healing on starboard, the port side is down, pressing the Stbd button drains the port bilge. THe second button is connected to the instruments. When pressed it remembers one of 4 things, depending on a master setting. The mode we use the most is 1. Magentic course, which works as a wind lift or knock sensor (the machine remembers both tack settings - the knock sensor is displayed on the steer guide instrument. 2. THe unit can also be used to rememer apparent wind angles, so after pressing the button the steer instrument will show you if you are on the correct wind angle. 4. The green line going forward on the port side...downhaul? yes, We call it the Foreguy (for the spinnaker pole) As with all good boats - Freewind has kept me alive, happy and safe over 10's of thousands of miles and 27 years. dEmO From: Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com [Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of chris123 [ch… [at] gmail.com] Sent: Wednesday, March 24, 2010 6:14 PM To: Ca… [at] yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [Cal_Boats] cal 2-29 and Cal 9.2 for sale Really nice boat dEmO...studied the deck layout intently.
