a dinghy trip to town
this was an update sent out previously but not to the CAL list:
Rhymes of us old mariners
Rub-a-dub, dub
We are off in our tub.
To market, to market, to buy lots of things
Home again, home again on our water wings.
Today is wash day, today is wash day,
Is everybody happy? Well I should say!
Ol’ Barb could eat no carb,
Nor Reggie, for that matter,
Seafood from Lola’s
kept them from getting fatter.
Reggie, to the mail box hewent
off the broken pumps he sent!
Publix market was the spot
for all the groceries that we bought
fruits, veggies, treats galore
haul 'em to the boat
from the store
A tisket, a tasket
We carried heavy sackettes.
We are snug as a bug in a rug.
