Sherwood pumps

I received the following infoprmation today after sending my broken pump in to Sherwood pumps. "We received your pump today and we looked at the coupling break. The break appears to be at the weak point in the assembly. We increased the radius on the groove of this assembly last year to increase the load capability of the coupling. This should solve the issue you have been seeing. The pumps however are a lip seal design as mentioned and we don't have a solution for your seal leak problems. In the future any new pump or reworked pump that uses a shaft coupling assembly made since June of 2009 should not have any coupling issues that you were experiencing. Our service group will contact you this afternoon." they are fixing mine which I'll carry as a spare. I appreciate their support and assistance. Reggie
