Spring Comissioning

Guys, We are having one of the best springs EVER. I painted the bottom today, have a couple of small projects left to do, and wash and wax the hull and I'm ready to splash. Maybe in mid-May, will be my earliest. I've never seen as many cars in the boatyard as were there today. We hope this points to a warm summer this year. We need it after last year. Now if I can just get the copper off my hands.... Regards, David Dobbs Cal 29 411

David, I did the same yesterday...and man Boomerang! looks awesome. I must say that I spoke to a guy that told me about a product called Parr Painter's Clean...and man, it works! It is a pumice based liquid, and expecting it to take off a layer or three of skin, it didn't, has a pleasant odor, and it just works. I got it at a local auto parts store. It takes off, not only bottom pain, but varnish, urethanes, and oil based paints.... Check it out....I thought I was going to be barnacle free for months...but there is no paint left on me anywhere.....and it was on me everywhere!
