request for assistance

I think you all are familiar by now with the saga of the solid gold raw water pump. Well, here's an update. It appears I may have lost 5 pumps due to a mis-alignment of the drive plate in the engine which drives the pump. Tom Vandiver, bless his lil pea pickin' heart, has machined an alignment tool and is sending it to me in the Beaufort, NC area. Sherwood pumps sent me a new pump to carry as my spare, but they sent it to Montana! It arrived there a couple days ago, but I did not know until tonight. Now the request for assistance. Having lost 5 pumps already, I'm pretty nervous about traveling without a spare. But, I must keep moving if I am to make it to my son's graduation. Is there anyone in the Norfolk are who might be able to receive the pump for me if shipped from Montana? then we could arrange to pick it up on our way through late next week. We are not in norfolk, but depending on your travels you should be in Oriental Monday or Tuesday. I am at the marina and can make arrangements for the package drop with the dock master. You would have to ship from Montana on monday Overnight delivery. That cost may have you looking for further option. Just a thought.
