Sights and Sounds

As we crossed under a bridge today, there was a sign phogto on request) that said something about a shellfish relay and to be cautious (I took a picture of the sign). We didn’t have a favorite team, so we just cheered for all of them. Unfortunately, we never even saw any relays, shellfish or anything, for that matter. Can’t tell you who won. A litter later on, we could hear a sound. Was it a factory? An engine? No! It was the surf in the Atlantic. First time we had heard it. Sort of forgot how close we are most of the time. I feel sort of badly that I just stayed out of the wind and rain today and let Reggie confront the elements, but not badly enough to go relieve him. I did smile and wave at him occasionally and offer snacks.
