tonight, trapped at mile 32 between a bascule bridge and a lock, neither of which will open until tomorrow morning at 8:30.
We are in Dismal Swamp, which had been beautifyl. We'v e been alone all day, no sport boats or trawlers passing us, gorgeousw scenery, very rural. This is an alternate route for the ICW. Well worth doing if you have a slow boat.
Tomorrow, chesapeake Bay!

Good choice! I am told this is another gem of the ICW, sometimes not
available during drought years.
