Cal 3-34 or 2-34?

Hey Everyone Im a new Cal 34 boat owner. Im sure there will be lots of posts/questions to follow but to start, Ive got a trivial question for you Cal 34 experts. My hull # is CAB340281276 I know its a 1976 boat and its mostly got the layout of a MKIII version but the owners manual (looks like an original) says Cal 2-34. Do I have Hull #1 of the MKIII's or #812 of the MKII's? If anyone knows the history of these boats I'd love to hear it. I'd also love a copy of the Cal 3-34 owner's manual so I can get a closer floor plan than the one I have. (I have the 2-34 in PDF if anyone wants it) Gary

Hi, Gary. It reads this way. CAB - CAL 34 - 34 028 - Hull 028 12 - December 76 - 1976 The 2-34 run ended in 76, and the 34-III run started in 76. Hull 28 suggests it is a 34-III (early in the run). Others agree? They might have had some leftover 2-34 brochures? Where are you located?
