Sad to say but BB has been put on the hard at Hancock Marina on Cohansey river as of yesterday. Simply to many issues to make a safe passage north combined with foul weather on the Jersey Coast that did not make me comfortable single handing it to NYC to enter the Hudson. Its been an adventure and thank you all for you encouragement. A post mortum and website will be put up when I get back. For now she's safe and sound and yes the mast is coming down, only boat in the marina that will be naked. Lots of good stories to tell with pictures and video's to support the half truths. Glad to hear the Reggie made the Chesapeake and is now safe and sound back home as well. Hope to get her in the water by Sept and then use the Chesapeake as a test ground and shake out cruising area, as Ive really fallen in love with the area. Far to much history, water and nice people to not take part in. From there, once she's finally ready, well who knows, and really I don't care...:) One day at a time when on the water. Dam its good...:) -- /ch

"...and really I don't care..." I like your attitude, Chris. We can have a BBBBB (Beautiful Boat Bash on the Bay by Baltimore) in September. Note that this one gets better grades than the West Coast version (called CCCCC - for the newbies benefit). Husar, Charlie [USA]2010-05-26 03:31 UTC
Greg, we'll make it up as we go along, or..., we can combine it with the Good Old Boat Regatta in early October (second weekend) which comes with built in raft-ups and shore parties. We usually have a number of CALs of various flavors at the event.
