Datamarine Instruments

In our '74 T-2 we have a set of the 4" round Datamarine gauges, the
depthfinder s200DL, and the knot/wind meter combo s100kl mounted in the
cockpit. The knot meter needs a new LCD, which I am considering buying
from DMI, but the depth finder has no "guts" . The housing and glass are
fixed into the bulkhead but all the inner workings are missing.
So my question is, does anyone have the depthfinder that they would be
willing to sell? I was outbid on one at the last second on Ebay and
have yet to see anymore being listed. Sailing in this area without one
is a bit dodgy and I'd like to keep the original instruments if at all
possible. Finding 4" round replacement instruments is going to be
difficult and I really want to try to avoid adapting a smaller gauge
into the 4" hole.
Any suggestions would be appreciated too.

These guys still make 4" units, not the newest design but mine was on the
boat when I got it in 1987!

John,
Thanks for that info. The Moore instruments are the first new ones I
have seen in 4". West Marine sells a combo gague in 3.5" but it is way
too expensive. That's as close as I have found.
Another Datamaine unit just came up on Ebay so I am keeping my eyes
peeled.

Greets:
Like many GOB's mine has the Datamarine instrument set for speed and
depth, separate gauges. The sending unit for the S-100KL knotmeter on
me boat is toast. So after a somewhat prolonged search tracked down
DMI Inc in Cape Cod, http://www.dmimarine.com/ spoke to them on the
phone and they have all the needed parts to repair, replace or in my
case a new sending unit for 130 bucks. Not bad.
