2010 GOB Regatta

Great, David. It is October 9 and 10 (Sat and Sun races on Government marks). Mooring on quiet creek a couple hundred feet from the party site on Mill Creek. About 3 water NM to the starting line. Tender service, but dinghies appreciated. Skippers' meeting Friday eve. Parties and awards both days. As well as music sessions. Alfred Poor is one of our leading musicians (can't forget having his wife Bebe performing as well). The whole thing coincides with the Annapolis Sailboat Show 45 minutes away by water, and a 3 mile drive. That runs October 7-11. Y'all come. Registration information to follow. The first hull of your boat type had to be built no later than 1975. We have classes for both fin and full keel boats as well as one design awards if you can get 3 or more. We get an intriguing variety of boats (and skill levels, but this is to celebrate the boats and the sailing and the camaraderie rather than absolute conquest - but winning sure don't hurt).
