hatch hinges

He, Cal sailors, Another parts-box request. I'm looking for a pair of bronze hinges like the ones used for the Cal 20 forward hatch, and probably for other Cal boats of that vintage. I can take a photo and post it if anybody can't visualize it. My other boat has a lazarette cover over the outboard well and the cover is operated in a lifted position so I can reach the OB's throttle. In seas (or more likely, when a passing powerboat sends huge wake in a confined channel), the cover tends to slide sideways. I think I can adapt a Cal-style hinge to secure its after edge. This hinge has a screw-type pin so disassembly is easy. Turn your junk-box parts into cash.... Chris Campbell

If anybody finds some, I could use likewise for a CAL 25. Trying to avoid drilling more new holes (than I already have for all kinds of stuff). Bidding wars possible. On second thought, maybe I'll just steal them from the CAL 20 down the dock from me.
