Re: [Cal_Boats] Inexpensive Survey San Diego?
Allstate backed out of FL following hurricane Andrew. Major claims! Lost 100s of $M.

ours in sf bay cost $150 plus at haulout and progressive only needed one if we were to need a value of more than the bare minimum (9000) so if you've invested a lot, rigging, etc. and electronics, it makes it worth it to consider. or check progressive. we found when we were boat-shopping in Florida that they don't do Allstate, just for info.not sure who Florida accepts now, something to do with not meeting claims there once upon a time. Subject: [Cal_Boats] Inexpensive Survey San Diego?
State Farm wants me to have a survey done of my 1965 Cal 28 before they agree to insure it again. The entire premium is less than $150.00.
I have never looked into a survey before. What do they typically cost, and is there a relatively inexpensive one available in San Diego?
Thanks.
