Cyclone Yasi did a great job of parking boats. Must have studied how we park cars in Lah-Lah-dee-dah land. Nice video. No fatalities as Queenslanders ducked and covered. Whatsamattah? No fools like me out motorcycling around town in the storm, with tree branchs flying passed me, like I did in Pensacola when Camille hit the Gulf Coast in '69? I crossed one bridge to the outer islands, driving straight ahead, but at a 45 degree angle, and got my windbreaker ripped apart. The next morning I woke to the news that a tornado had ripped the roof of one of our pool buildings at the Naval Air Station. That storm hit land at Biloxi, Mississippi, and flattened it. On the outer islands they found the bodies of people who had climbed and tied themselves to trees to flee the storm surge. Yikes. Jerry http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12355801
