Did something crawl in a dorade and die? As far as getting rid of the smell talk to a company that does restoration to buildings damaged by fire and flood. I've heard that tile and grout cleaner is good for removing bilge smells but have never tried it. Do not forget to check anchor locker for wet/molding anchor rode and ice box for left food and that it drains freely. Check to make sure the overboard for the sinks are open and run some water down the drains. If there was standing water in the hose after using the sink stuff will grow then as it dies / rots you et some really bad odors. Found those fun one from working on others boats a marinia in Portsmouth, Va. Guy had has boat pulled to have engine and shafting replaced. The icebox was half full of food. We disconnected batteries Friday afternoon in July and started disconnecting engine. When we started work again monday you could not even be aboard 5 minutes.
