Redondo Beach is just over the Palos Verde's Hill from San Pedro. Where San Pedro is close proximity to Santa Catalina at 21.6 mi from LA Light to Long Point and 25.8 to West End. Redondo Beach is about 28 miles to the West End. There are no signs of the Anchovy down this way, however during the 60's and 70's we had the canneries in Terminal Island to contend with. Ah yes, nothing like going to the bank on Friday and having a cannery worker from the fish plant in the same line after cutting 80lb tuna all day!
