Been there, done it. Anybody who is urked about it just has not had it
happen to them... yet.
Stay out of emails that you don't recognize where they come from.
Usually have some URL with "see my pictures!!!" or some such. Even if it
is from a friend, be very aware as it could be something that got into
your friends address book & forwarded to you.
If you do not recognize a URL in an email never click on it.

Randy,
Try changing the password on your email account and logging out. Do not
login until you want to use your email, log out after you are finished using
your email. Try changing the password several times and logging out each
time. You can also notify your email provider, they may be able to help.

Thanks Bert,
I read that on Yahoo "Help" and tried it yesterday. Hopefully that will do it.

If the source is coming from you, then you have a virus on your computer.
The best free programs to use to keep a windows box clean are Avast and
CCedit
http://download.cnet.com/Avast-Free-Antivirus/3000-2239_4-10019223.html?part=dl-85737&subj=dl&tag=button
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard
Download and install these programs and update as needed. Then take your
machine off the internet, reboot and start the scan with Avast to find the
nasties. Once that is done could take up to an hr clean up your system with
ccleaner. When working on windows, I run it daily. Avast its automated.
The advise to change your password on yahoo is also good.
Best of luck, if you run into trouble feel free to contact me off list at
the above email address.

you do always have the option of the free windows security essentials -
I have it on the wife's pc and so far so good (I jumped from avg when
they started putting too many popups on) - me, I'll stick to unix, much
safer and easier.
