NW Cal Get Together?

matthewwenman2011-04-12 05:25
Is anyone in the Pacific Northwest - Puget Sound - interested in doing a cal get together/rendezvous? I heard of one being done a few years ago, looked like a lot of fun. Seems like we just set a date, pick a place, and reserve some slips eh? Matt Cal 2-27 Je T'aime

I'm in as well. Several years ago I hosted one at Arabella's. The next year, Richard Anderson hosted one at Edmonds, so it's time for the South Sound to rise again. Perhaps the Foss Waterway would be a good venue. It has the museums and a whole bunch of guest moorage. Dockton park or a raft-up in Quartermaster would be great, although fewer shore-side diversions. There are some great spots south of the Narrows, but I'm afraid we would lose too many Center Sound boaters because of the distance. Fred, I like all of those ideas. Foss Waterway could be really cool because of all the shoreside attractions and eateries. Dinner at the Harmon Brewpub?
