Well the Can O WhoopAss , Cal20 # 624 is off on the first YRA OYRA race tomarrow , out 12 miles and back from the lightbucket off of Ocean beach and the Golden Gate Bridge !
On our last Lightbucket , I was un ceremoniously thrown upwards while the boat dropped off a 14 foot swell ,,, As I did a perfect Whilie Coyote foot patter in the air , and as I was falling , whatching the jib sheet coil near my landing point , , , the leward cockpit seat .
bones a crunched and air was expelled from lungs ,,, with a dislocated pinky and my ribs screaming for the next five hours we finished in front of three boats , third in div. and 5th overall ( out of 30 ) ,,,,
Yea BABY !
Should be a lot easier out there tomarrow ! , lets' just hope its not a floater ! BTW , How much beer can a Cal20 hold ? .
Cheers , Paul
